Maintaining Coherence: Navigation

Maintaining Coherence: Navigation

This video has two clips: one from Enya Granados who is teaching about the effect of climate change on peach growth in Georgia, and Tiffany Cash, who is teaching about how climate change affects drought in Tennessee. Enya supports students in navigating into the lesson by helping them recall key points from the previous class. Tiffany guides students in transitioning to constructing a driving question board by encouraging them to reflect on their observations and questions. Both clips illustrate how teachers can help maintain coherence between lessons for their students.
