Selecting a Localized Anchor

Selecting a Localized Anchor

This interview features Brian Vollmer-Buhl, a teacher in Cottage Grove, Oregon—a rural community southeast of Eugene. The school serves a diverse student population and is located near the Willamette River. In the interview, Brian discusses his selection of an anchoring phenomenon and how it connects both to the local area and the culminating task in his unit, which he is teaching to his ocean science class.
