Navigating Resources

We have extensive resources to help you design your own localized Climate Education Pathway. To navigate these, we recommend the following approach.

  1. Start with the Getting Started pages.  Learn about our project story, approach to localized climate learning, design principles, and instructional approach. You’ll also find stories from teachers and students to help you understand the experience and impact.

  2. Get to know the Base Unit materials. These 10 pre-designed lessons include a full complement of classroom materials and digital media. If you are not ready to design your own localized unit yet, consider teaching the Base Unit materials first to help you understand our instructional approach and digital tools.

  3. Explore teacher-created Pathway materials. See what teachers across the country have developed for their students, which can inspire you in your own design work.

  4. Use our Design Tools. When you’re ready to create your own localized pathway, these tools will guide you through the design process step-by-step to create something innovative and just right for you and your students.

If you’re specifically looking for climate change visualization tools, visit the Student Edition and browse resources by Media type to find engaging interactives and animations.
